Gateway Urdu Ambassadors are community leaders that share Gateway Urdu’s vision and actively promote our brand in their local communities.
Our Ambassadors
Ms. Tabinda Siddiqui
Ms. Tabinda is a well-known community leader in the Plano/Dallas area working on a diverse set of activities from voter registration drives to women empowerment. She is a FINRA registered, independent financial broker serving her local community.
Ms. Tabinda has raised her daughters to be fluent Urdu speakers and has an appreciation for the extra effort parents have to take to preserve the language and culture. She has also actively promoted social Urdu programs in her community over the years.
She is excited about Gateway Urdu's well-disciplined online Urdu program for preserving the heritage language in the generation next while saving parents the hectic Dallas drive time.
Shahbaz Khan
Mr. Shahbaz is a long-standing social broker in the St. Louis community. He is well regarded for his humbleness and ever-readiness to assist the community in any kind of need.
Mr. Shahbaz is the lifeblood of all community programs from organizing mushairas to promoting education in the local city schools.
He has been supporting local Urdu programs in the community for many years and is excited for Gateway Urdu to offer the generation next a quality product that truly preserves the heritage language.
Ms. Hira Khan
Ms. Hira Khan is Gateway Urdu's Youth Ambassador. Born in Karachi and raised in St. Louis, she has always kept Urdu close to her. She is a fluent speaker and is currently learning how to read and write.
"Urdu has become a part of who I am and I take joy in knowing that I can interact with others in my native language!"
Ms. Hira currently attends the St. Louis College of Pharmacy and joins Gateway Urdu to promote the language among the youth.
Ms. Aneeqa Khan
Ms. Aneeqa Khan is Gateway Urdu’s Youth Ambassador serving the Plano/Dallas areas. She has always been fascinated by her mother tongue and loves to converse in Urdu at every opportunity.
“Urdu is such a beautiful language and I hope it carries on with the generations to come!”
She is currently pursuing her Master’s in International Management and hopes to combine her Urdu and business skills to keep her proud, Pakistani heritage alive!
Ms. Rijaa Khan
Ms. Rijaa Khan is Gateway Urdu’s Youth Ambassador serving the Plano/Dallas areas. She grew up learning both Urdu and English. Since of a young age she has been able to communicate in Urdu with her elders, giving her a sense of closeness to her heritage culture. She attributes her Urdu conversational skills to her parents who worked tirelessly to preserve the language and culture.
“Because the program is online, it will be accessible to potential learners across the nation, and that is exciting!”
She is currently pursuing her Undergraduate degree in Child Development and Psychology.
